Recertification- Lead Safety for Renovation, Repair, and Painting- August 2021

The EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting Final Rule (40 CFR 745) requires that renovation conducted for compensation must be performed by a certified renovator.  Renovation firms that wish to work in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must be initially certified by the EPA, they must renew their certification every three years before their certification expires.

GA EPD requires a refresh course every 3 years. This is different from the EPA, which requires the refresher every 5 years. 

This RRP class is good for 3 years in Georgia and 5 years in an EPA authorized state (Fl, SC, TN)
